    James W. Saxton, Esquire - Department and Chair of the Health Care Litigation Group. He is an active trial lawyer – a practice he has sustained for over 25 years – representing providers, including hospitals, physicians and retirement communities in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings. His practice includes litigation, licensing and medical staff issues.

    Jim lectures frequently on health law issues and has published more than 200 articles, several handbooks and four textbooks. He is an invited speaker across the country on health care issues, including liability reduction and risk management, and presents to nationally prominent health care organizations such as the American Association of Clinical Urologists, the American College of General Surgeons, the American Society for Bariatric Surgery, American Health Lawyers Association and the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management.

    As published in the June 2005 issue of Philadelphia magazine, Jim was recognized as a 2005 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer by being selected by his peers as among the top 5 percent of lawyers in the Commonwealth.

  1. Murray Risk Management and Insurance – Murray processes applications and renewals, performs the underwriting, performs policy issuance, policy certificates, CAT/MCARE Fund filings and other documentation and record-keeping, as well as claims administration.

    Stephen V. Riley, Sr. Vice President - Steve began with Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 1989 as an Account Executive. He was promoted to Vice President, Commercial Division in 1998 and to Senior Vice President in 2001. Steve heads up Program Services Division which includes captive management, claim administration and risk control services. Prior to Murray, Steve worked as Risk Manager for several national/international corporations.

    Steve is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Management and is a graduate of Leadership Lancaster.

    Steve serves as President of CARE, Ltd., a group captive for not-for-profit retirement communities and is a member of the Captive Insurance Companies Association, South Carolina Captive Insurance Association and Risk Insurance Management Society. He is also active in multiple community and civic organizations and is currently Board Chairman of Schreiber Pediatric Rehabilitation Center and a Director for Pleasant View Retirement Community. He is former Chairman of Goodwill Industries of Southeastern
    Pennsylvania and the Lancaster County Children and Youth Agency Boards. Steve was also a Lancaster County Premier Youth Soccer Coach for 12 years.


    Thomas Martone, Assistant Vice President, Program Manager Healthcare Services - Tom joined Murray Risk Management and Insurance as an Account Executive in 2004 and was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2010. Prior to joining Murray, Tom worked in the manufacturing sector at Lancaster Malleable Castings Company where he served as Vice President, Human Resources & Safety and managed their self-insured workers compensation program. He continues to serve on their Board of Directors.

    Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety & Environmental Health from Millersville University. He obtained the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist designation.

    Tom currently is Co-Chair of the Lancaster Chamber’s Workers’ Compensation Group. He also serves on the Chamber’s Advocacy Council. He is an active member of the Lancaster Sunrise Rotary and is a member of Murray’s United Way Committee.

     

    Dawn McCabeDawn L. McCabe, Account Executive - Dawn joined Murray Risk Management and Insurance as an Account Executive for the Central Pennsylvania Physician’s Risk Retention Group in 2011. She is part of the Healthcare Solutions Group within the Program Services Division.

    Prior to joining Murray, Dawn was a Specialty Sales Representative for Forest Pharmaceuticals covering the central Pennsylvania market. Prior to her position at Forest, she was Sales Manager for The Hershey Company.

    Dawn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College.

    She is currently active with Junior League of Lancaster as Assistant Fundraising Chair. In addition, she participates with the Lebanon Valley College Alumni Association as a student mentor.
